Our engineers in Manchester welcomed engineers from the US recently for witnessing and participating in the factory acceptance testing of their newly built leak detection system designed for leak testing fuel tanks on some of the most legendary and iconic American motorcycle brands ever produced.
It’s always a pleasure having customers on-site with us so they can run through various formal tests and so our engineers can answer questions about leak detection testing generally and specifically going through the many aspects of the leak test machine functionality, performance and safety features.
This leak detection system is one of five machines ordered through our experienced engineers based in our North American division and has been meticulously designed to customer specification for production testing fuel tanks for several leading world-renowned OEM American made motorcycles.
The FAT helps identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies there may be before the leak test systems are despatched, installed and commissioned by our engineers at their production facility.
The fuel tanks are manufactured by state-of-the-art metal forming and require the upmost compliance with standards and regulations before being fitted onto the various styles of incredible motorcycles.
