Here we have Kris, one of our experienced Controls Engineers working on the main control panel located within one of the Process Containers in our New Energies division.
The Process Container is essentially a sub-assembly of the High Pressure Generation Unit (HPGU) container designed for compressing, recovering and reusing the tracer gas used for leak testing high pressure hydrogen storage tanks.
Along with the HPGU, the Process Container is fabricated to meet the sizes of a standard 40 foot ISO shipping container for ease of logistics and installation. It houses the pressure generation side of equipment for the HPGU, including the gas compressors, gas boosters, along with the pipework, valves and ancillaries around generating pressure in the system.
Kris’ knowledge of our high pressure automated systems is essential for operational efficiency and productivity, ensuring that the complex systems function smoothly and reliably.
