Cameron, one of our experienced service and maintenance engineers, busy stripping, cleaning and servicing a series of vacuum pumps, which are part of a previously built leak detection system from almost ten years ago.
The VES vacuum leak detection system was recently fully operational in a UK production facility of a Tier One global automotive parts manufacturer and required re-purposing.
The system required hardware and software upgrades and modifications, alongside refurbishing and rebuilding to be able to accommodate leak testing a new fuel tank variant inside the vacuum chamber, including the appropriate coupling and tooling.
Once the leak test system has had its factory acceptance test to ensure full functionality and approval of modified machine, it will be installed and commissioned into their Czech Republic manufacturing facility.
