It was Graeme’s final day at our Manchester facility recently, having been with VES since 2008!

Graeme celebrated reaching his retirement and as a respected Electrical Engineer, he shared his knowledge and experience with everyone that worked with him and will certainly be missed by his colleagues, along with his contribution over the years in the growth and success of the business.

The time has come for him to put down his screwdrivers and end to his usual daily work routine with some much needed time to relax and enjoy life without the pressures and fast pace of wiring all those leak test systems and spend more time with his family and outside work friends.

Graeme is a keen ‘twitcher’ and is looking forward to spending even more time indulging his passion for photographing wildlife, so he’ll be keeping busy in all those hides and wild places across Lancashire.

Graeme was gifted with a brand new watch and membership to Lancashire Wildlife Trust, with our Manchester personnel helping send him off by filling ourselves with pizza, soft drinks and doughnuts over lunch.

Pictured with Graeme (left) is Andrea, VES’ Chief Engineer and Nick, VES’ Manufacturing Manager, both working with Graeme over the many years.

Happy retirement Graeme, we wish you all the best!
