Vacuum Engineering are presenting at this year’s ITB Conference, in North America
The world-renowned ITB Group Conference unites experts from across the global automotive sector, for a 5-day conference, each year. The conference covers a whole host of automotive-fuelled discussion – this year centring on Fuel & Alternative Energy Storage Systems: Technical Developments and Regulations.
Our North American Sales Director, Rob Inglis, will be presenting this year’s talk on the importance of quality leak testing, and the risks surrounding inadequate testing methods.
Rob has certainly made an impact in the market – starting his career at Ford Motor Company in the fuel storage and delivery department as a product design engineer. He went on to work through the launch of the twin sheet plastic fuel tank and helped develop the first helium leak detection specifications and machinery for Ford. After 6 years he left the fuel systems department and joined VES as a system engineer. Rob’s current role is leading the North American Sales organisation.
While a quality leak test may not be a cheap piece of equipment, Rob will explore how an ineffective test can prove to be even more expensive in the long-run.
