Wishing VES’ Operations Director, Steve Derbyshire, all the happiness, relaxation and exciting new adventures that this next chapter of life brings. You’ve worked hard, achieved so much and now it’s time to enjoy the well-earned rewards of all those years of dedication.
Steve has been with us since the beginning, starting his journey at the renowned vacuum technology company Leybold in the Manchester division. In 1994, alongside colleagues Edward Garner, Derek Gardner, George Benson, Steve Murfitt and Peter Ratcliffe, Steve was one of the co-founders of VES.
His career has been remarkable, rising through the ranks from Stores to Purchasing, then Purchasing Director and ultimately to Operations Director. Throughout it all, Steve has carried a wealth of experience and knowledge, which he generously shared with his colleagues.
We’ll certainly miss Steve’s presence around the office, but we wish him all the best in retirement. May your days be filled with joy, time spent with loved ones, and fun with your brand new puppy. Here’s to embracing every moment of this exciting new chapter.
