We are seeking a proactive Internal Sales Specialist to support the commercial function through effective management of inbound enquiries, quotations, and order processing. The role focuses on “behind the desk” sales activity, ensuring high responsiveness to customers, strong conversion of enquiries, and efficient handling of spare parts and service opportunities.
The Internal Sales Specialist will act as a key link between customers and internal teams, supporting overall sales execution and contributing to the growth of recurring revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Sales & Customer Support
- Manage incoming enquiries, emails, and customer requests in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and issue quotations for spare parts, services, and smaller opportunities
- Act as a central point of contact for customer queries and follow-ups
- Ensure high levels of responsiveness and customer satisfaction
Spare Parts & Service Sales
- Drive sales of spare parts and service offerings, supporting recurring revenue growth
- Follow up quotations to improve conversion rates
- Identify opportunities within the existing customer base
Order Processing & Coordination
- Generate order acknowledgements and support order entry processes
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure accurate order handling
- Track orders and provide updates to customers as required
Sales Support & Administration
- Support the Sales Manager and sales engineers by handling administrative and transactional activities
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate data on enquiries, quotations, and orders
- Monitor pipelines for smaller opportunities and ensure timely progression
The Candidate
- Experience in internal sales, customer service, or sales support roles within a technical or industrial environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities
- Customer-focused with a proactive and responsive approach
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and standard business tools
- Ability to work effectively across functions in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary £30,000 – £38,000, depending on experience
- Competitive benefits package, including pension
- Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
